Introduced in 2008, the Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea uses Rolex’s Ringlock system, a nitrogen-alloyed steel ring inside the case that absorbs the enormous pressure of the deep ocean, allowing water resistance to 3,900m.
Deepsea References
The 116660 was the first Deepsea, available with a black dial or the gradient “D-Blue” dial commemorating James Cameron’s 2012 solo dive to the Mariana Trench. The 126660 followed in 2018 with an updated movement and design.
